Component 5: Training

Training for supervisors will help them to improve their safety management skills. This training will focus on relevant social and technical skills using cultural-linguistic approach.

Many health and safety programs focus their training component on workers. However, our program has develop a training program for supervisors. Field supervisors will be trained in learning how to best manage people through enhacing their human relations skills and Hispanic Cultural Competency. This training will help supervisors to gain skill for improving safety at the workplace while dealing with people from different cultures.
